- Ad hoc task force for combatting data abuse -


THE CHALLENGE

EiA web portal was attacked by hackers and sensitive credit card data were compromised. The portal also served cooperating partners as a booking platform. Even when no case of data abuse actually occurs, this type of situation can have highly adverse effects on a company. Due to this, all parties required the immediate establishment of a hotline so that end-customers could obtain information on their data or file an abuse report.


AIC'S SOLUTION

At 8:00a.m. the day after the leak was noticed, AIC received the task of setting up a caller hotline. What was done?

AIC immediately put together a small project team and requested a new cost-free 0800-telephone number.

THE RESULTS

At 4:00p.m. the same day, i.e. only 8 hours after the order was placed, AIC started up the 'Data Abuse' hotline. How was this possible?
